For instance, in the pursuit of weight loss, the temptation to celebrate with unhealthy indulgences may arise. Similarly, financial goals may be compromised by impulsive spending. Opt for celebrations that propel you in the right direction.
If uncertain about where to begin, consider committing to a daily practice, such as yoga or any other personally chosen endeavor.
Overcoming the inertia that often hinders individuals from establishing a home practice is the primary challenge. Make the commitment for a short timeline—one that you can confidently commit to. For example… “I will practice hatha yoga for at least 5 minutes every day for the next week. If successful, I will reward myself with a new sticky mat.”
