Like many others, I bought Charlotte Tilbury’s Magic Cream when it first launched, but at the time, I found it too heavy for my skin and shiny-looking under foundation.
Fast forward ten years, and after repeatedly purchasing my go-to makeup pencils (see my list below), I had earned enough loyalty points to qualify for an 8ml bottle of Collagen Oil and a mini 7ml pot of Magic Cream as gifts. I’m also getting £10.00 off my next purchase so it’s well worth joining their loyalty programme.
Eager to try the oil, I mixed a few drops with a blob of the cream as part of my overnight skincare routine. The combination worked wonders; my skin felt a lot less parched in the morning. While the oil is still going strong, the cream ran out quickly.
I didn’t want to commit to a full-sized jar, as I have plenty of skincare products already, so I thought the travel-sized version would be perfect.
Unlike the 7ml freebie, the 15ml jar is made of glass and feels delightfully weighty in hand—adding an extra touch of luxury.
This time around, my skin loved it. I can now apply it under makeup with no greasiness—just pure hydration and a nice boost of radiance.

I think these are the best lip pencils on the market—offering an easy glide with no tugging, long-lasting wear, rich pigments, and a smooth sharpening experience—but there’s a small downside. The shade names are printed too close to the top, so after sharpening, it’s easy to lose track of which shade is which, which has led me to accidentally repurchase similar tones which is why I own seven of the fifteen shades from this range.
Colour Chameleon Champagne Diamonds £23.00 Charlotte Tilbury *
Light shimmer champagne eyeshadow pencil designed for blue eyes.
I bought this right when it launched, and I love using it to subtly line my lower lid for a hint of sparkle to brighten up my eyes—without looking overly shimmery.
A word of warning though, keep the lid tightly pushed down, if exposed to air this beauty will dry out in nano-seconds!
Legendary Brows in Taupe £24.00 Charlotte Tilbury
Tinted brow gel with micro-precision brush to add texture and fullness mimicking natural brow hair.
This is a taupe shade with neutral undertones for fair and light to medium blonde brows and red brows.
The shade was originally called ‘Brigitte’ to imply it was named after Brigitte Bardot I assume. This is the perfect taupe for blonde brows, thanks to its tiny spoolie brush and beautifully long-lasting pigment.
Brow Lift in shade ‘Taupe’ £25.00 Charlotte Tilbury *
Cream-wax refillable (didn’t know that) eyebrow pencil to fill, add shape and structure to your brows.
This is a light blonde shade with cool undertones for fair, red and light blonde brows. taupe shade with neutral undertones for light to medium blonde brows.
I bought this as a stop-gap substitute when the taupe shade in Legendary Brows was sold out, as it often is.
It’s become a go-to repurchase for me, with its buildable formula, convenient spoolie for blending, and angled tip that easily fills in brows or draws fine, natural-looking hairs.
Rock ‘n’ Kohl Eye Cheat £24.00 Charlotte Tilbury *
Eye Cheat is a universal nude tone to create the optical illusion of wider, fuller and more awake eyes.
Use to line the upper and lower waterline and corner with this eye saviour and watch as your eyes miraculously appear bigger and brighter.
My only gripe and I know it’s because the formula is so soft and creamy, is that it’s messy to sharpen, even with the ‘official’ Charlotte Tilbury pencil sharper.
But, as with all Charlotte Tilbury products, the shade is spot on and it’s very natural looking on the waterline.
It’s fair to say that with Charlotte Tilbury, you’re investing in rich pigments and proven skincare formulas, all wrapped in a touch of luxury. After all, she ensures her products are not only effective but also beautifully designed. Charlotte doesn’t do ugly-looking products!
